2018 FRC Kickoff - Power Up! (Saturday 01/06/2018)

Overview.

The 2018 FRC Season starts Saturday 01/06/2018, at the TI South Campus (Texas Instruments 12500 TI Blvd Dallas, TX 75243) Be at the Pearce Loading Dock @7:30a for the Carpool.

At the Kick off we will see the entire game field, be given the game rules, basic training, and have a game break down with some other mentors . We recommend all students who can attend do attend. All we know now is that the game is called FIRST Power UP.

Students please wear your Team Work Shirts or other Pearce High School Shirt. #noexcuses

Notes about The Venue

1. All individuals that attend this event must be registered in TI's visitor system prior to kick-off. Your team's main contact person will receive a form requesting information on the individuals from your team that will be attending. You MUST complete and return this information by Dec 29, 2017. Unregistered individuals will NOT be able to enter TI's campus.
2. Adults attending this event will need to bring a photo ID

8:00a Doors Open / Check In Begins / Light Breakfast / Early Kit Distribution (as appropriate)

8:15a Pearce Carpool arrives at Texas Instruments

9:010a Welcome to TI

10:00a Field Viewing (take pictures)

10:30a Live Game Break Down

11:00a 1 Hour Optional Training Topics - Programming, Awards, Pneumatics, Etc. Details to follow.

12:30p Lunch at Pearce Robotics Room

1:30p Group Rules Reading, Strategy Session

2:00p Student Idea Sessions.

5:00p Clean up and Kick off day over
