2019 FRC (DESTINATION: DEEP SPACE) Kickoff

Overview.

The 2019 FRC Season starts Saturday 01/05/2019, at the TI South Campus (Texas Instruments 12500 TI Blvd Dallas, TX 75243) Be at the Pearce Loading Dock @7:30a for the Carpool.

At the Kick off we will see the entire game field, be given the game rules, basic training, and have a game break down with some other mentors . We recommend all students who can attend do attend. All we know now is that the game is called FIRST DESTINATION: DEEP SPACE.

Students please wear your Team Work Shirts or other Pearce High School Shirt. #NOEXCUSES or #DesignToGrow

FIRST STIMS account and Consent and Release Form

Follow the instructions on http://www.firstinspires.org/resource-library/youth-team-member-consent-and-release-form to sign up for your STIMS account and compleate the FIRST Consent and Release Form. Our Team Number is 1745

We are changing this process for the 2019 year stay tuned.

In addition to the consent form you will need to fill out an interest form for the event. we will need a list of everyone going by December 28th 2018.

Notes about The Venue

All individuals that attend this event must be registered in TI's visitor system prior to kick-off.

Adults attending this event will need to bring a photo ID

5:30p Sub-Teams organize themselves

9:00p Close shop (y'all don't have have to go home but you cant say here)

7:30a Meet on Back Dock at Pearce High School

7:45a Carpool to Texas Instruments 12500 TI Blvd Dallas, TX 75243

8:00a Doors Open / Check In Begins / Light Breakfast / Early Kit Distribution (as appropriate)

8:15a Pearce Carpool arrives at Texas Instruments

9:010a Welcome to TI

10:00a Field Viewing (take pictures)

10:30a Live Game Break Down

11:00a 1 Hour Optional Training Topics - Programming, Awards, Pneumatics, Etc. Details to follow.

1:30p Group Rules Reading, Strategy Session

Important: Not all entrances will be open. Please follow the directions below regarding which entrance to use and where to park.

· From US 75 Exit Forest Lane

· Head East on Forest Lane and enter Gate 1 (see maps below)

· Go past the Security Station and turn left

· The is no parking fee and you can park in any marked parking spacesBusses may have different instructions upon arrival. Please instruct the driver to follow any security guard directions.
