Chaperoning a Day Trip

some trips we take are only for 1 day or an afternoon. these
- Carpool the students to the events
- you may need to assist in loading of equipment
- Assist in set up of lunch
- we normally will do sandwiches and a picnic (we have a grill if anyone is willing to assist)

Chaperoning a Multi Day Trip
Some trips we take are multi day but not overnight they operate just the same as a Day trip but we may change the meeting times and places
- Carpool the students to the events
- you may need to assist in loading of equipment
- Assist in set up of lunch
- we normally will do sandwiches and a picnic (we have a grill if anyone is willing to assist)

The larger trips we take require an overnight stay.
- Carpool the students to the events
- you may need to assist in loading of equipment
- Mentor/Chaperone Hotel Policy
- We may pair up mentors and Chaperones 2 to a room ( 2 full or queen sized beds), VIPs may be roomed in solo rooms
- Per district policy married couples may be roomed together ( we prefer this as it saves on travel expenses)
- We pick locations that have the following
- Non smoking rooms
- Breakfast provided
- Interior doors
- ~15 minutes from the location
- 3 star reviews or higher
- Food
- We normally will do sandwiches and a picnic (we have a grill if anyone is willing to assist)
- The team food process covers all people traveling with the team. even as a chaperone you will be given a stipend for stipend meals
- If you have extra nutritional needs you are on your own for this.
